1. OUR CONTRACT
All bookings made with Transworld Travel Services Sdn Bhd, are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation invoice. It is also the customer’s responsibility upon receipt of to check an invoice/ a confirmation that the information on it is complete and correct. Any inaccuracies must be immediately reported to us. Costs resulting from a failure to report shall be borne by the customer.
2. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT
At the time of booking, you are required to pay a deposit payment for your booking to be confirmed. If your booking is made within 15 days of the departure date, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Please note that a higher deposit may be required for some selected trips.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKING AND FINAL PAYMENTS
When we accept your booking, we will issue a confirmation invoice. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice. Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding deposits and final payments. Please note that full payment may be required earlier for some selected trips. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
4. YOUR DETAILS
In order for us to confirm your travel arrangements, you must provide all requested details. Necessary details include full name as per passport or identification card, date of birth, nationality, passport number or identification number, passport issue and expiry date, and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements.
5. CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELLER
Any cancellation of booking may result in deposit or a percentage of the full payment being retain. Please refer to our company representatives for full information on your booking cancellation policy. If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made. All cancellation fees are in addition to fees that may be levied by accommodation providers, travel agents or third-party tour and transport operator fees.
6. CANCELLATION BY US
We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, safety reasons, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. The refund will be based on the amount being reimbursed by accommodation providers, airlines and transport operator. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, refunds will have to less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights. Please note that different cancellation conditions may apply to some styles of trips, our company representatives will advise if differences apply.
7. PASSPORT AND VISAS
You must carry a valid passport or identification card and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation. For visa applications, please approach our company representatives for assistance.
8. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Please note that some tours are with travel insurance and some are without. Read your tour packages inclusions carefully or check with our representatives. If you would like purchase your travel insurance, please approach our company representatives for assistance.
9. CHANGE OF ITINERARY
While we are responsible to operate all trips as described, Transworld Travel Services Sdn Bhd reserve the right to change the trip itinerary if deemed necessary.
10. LIABILITY
Transworld Travel Services Sdn Bhd is not liable if the non-performance or bad performance of the contract is due to:
- A failure to act on the side of the customer;
- An unforeseeable and unavoidable omission by a third party, which is not involved in providing the contractually agreed services;
- Force of nature or an event, which Transworld Travel Services Sdn Bhd or a service provider could not have foreseen or avoided, notwithstanding the exercise of due care.
Transworld Travel Services Sdn Bhd therefore is not liable for changes in an itinerary caused by strikes, social unrest, weather conditions, decisions taken by the authorities, third-party delays, etc., or for changes due to flight schedule changes.
11. PAYMENT METHOD
Payments can be made online to us by the following methods:
1. Direct Debit / Online Transfer (Malaysia banks only).
2. Credit Card (4% processing fee).
3. Paypal (4% processing fee)
4. Telegraphic Transfer (Processing fee applies).
